Okay here we go summer! My two are officially out of school and after looking at my calendar and a few upcoming things… mostly casual… I pulled together a few looks I’d want to wear right now… mixing and matching! This might need to be a Part I for an ongoing summer series?!

Managing that camp schedule is another full time job…
Often when the dress code falls somewhere in the middle… dressy / casual… a more casual top with a dressier bottom is usually my go-to. Or swapped, a dressier top with denim bottoms.
A couple great black tanks to wear on repeat this summer: this one, this one, this one… this one, this one and this one too!
Striped Sweatshirt. Black Tank. Bucket Hat. Black Sunglasses. White Tee. Black Shorts. Black Tank. Denim Shorts. Striped Sweatshirt & Shorts. Dorsey Paracord Necklace. A.Emery Black Sandals.
This tank is great for casual mom-mode summer! The fit is great and you can wear a bra with it. I sized up one, to a size S, and I like that it’s not too tight. (I’ve been wearing it with this bra underneath).
And I finally found a slightly longer short style that fits me great and this off-white cream makes me feel a bit more polished (more sizes here ~ also a clean blue denim). *size down one size
This sandal (avail here too) is a comfy option that molds to your feet nicely for lots of summer adventures / walking and the buckled strap is especially nice for running after little ones on the go!
You know I love my Suzie Kondi lounge sets at this point… and this striped sweatshirt is fun summer mom… relaxing after a day on the boat! I’d wear the sweatshirt on it’s own with black denim shorts / jeans… or the matching set around the house.
Dorsey’s newest Paracord necklaces launched this week and the campaign with Camille Rowe is the ultimate cool-girl summer vibe!! I’m going to the Cold Play concert tonight and I think I’m going to copy this layering ~ I got this black cord and I’m planning to try it layered with my Rivière necklace and a simple black tank with jeans. Feels like the ideal effortless summer look. The cords launched in some fun colors… green, blue, yellow, orange and red… if you’re craving a summer pop while personally, the black / neutral cord feels like the ones I’d wear the most.

Afternoon at the Country Mart to Happy Hour with the Girls
Black Tank. Sunglasses. White Tee (*runs small). Eyeliner. Dorsey Cord Necklace. Black Dress. White Shorts (skirt version). Black Sandals. Orange Silk Pants. Datejust Rolex. Hermes Clutch. Green Bag. Posh Balm. Jil Sander Black Sandals.
I’m really feeling this Isabel Marant print / and collection in general! Pricier but this is one of those pants I’d wear to every in-between casual, dressy… when in doubt… occasion this summer.
I’m obsessed with this Maria McManus dress (all sizes on their website here). It’s just that touch of New York cool! You could recreate this slightly more city vibe with any dress in your closet and the right accessories. I’d wear it with a simple black flat, like the Jil Sander sandals (another version).
I’ll always be a fan of a classic / vintage Rolex and the two-tone Datejust with the jubilee bracelet always gets my vote. From a curation on Fashionphile that’s worth a browse by And Just Like That costume designers Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago. Are you watching this new season?
And lastly, there’s just something about a simple chic clutch… like this Hermes one in the chocolate brown that always feels like happy hour mom’s night out to me.
Hi Alicia! What are your thoughts on the Dorsey Kate Riviere necklace vs. the Alexa Leigh Everyday Tennis necklace?
